Tranmere Community Project – TCP
TCP takes young people who have disengaged from learning and re-defines ‘learning’ for them in a way that develops confidence, self worth and a permission to dream and to aspire to better things through learning. The way in which we work is founded on two points, an absolute respect for the dignity of young people, whatever their circumstances; and a passionate belief that personal development can change and improve lives permanently.
Alternative education programmes focus on developing a person’s personal and social skills by developing their emotional literacy and thus providing them with the skills and strategies to re-engage in learning or move into further education, training and employment.
